Byron Bay rail corridor
Byron Shire Council has received a development application for a motel site adjoining the former rail corridor. The applicant wants some of the railway land included in the development.

Action for Public Transport feels strongly that rail corridors should be protected, especially when there is an obvious need for restoration and expansion of the rail network.
