New bus industry <i>Moving People</i> document
A new publication "Moving People: Solutions for a Liveable Australia", has been released by the Bus Industry Confederation. It highlights three critical areas where a major focus will be needed in coming years in Australia's land transport systems:
<ul>
<li>Land-use / transport integration
<li>Funding the transport infrastructure and service improvements required to overcome existing backlogs and cater effectively for future infrastructure needs
<li>Dealing with social exclusion that is associated with transport disadvantage.
</ul>
