APTNSW declines government's invitation to participate in planning "blueprint" In early September 2009 APTNSW received an invitation from the Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation to contribute to a new government transport plan which is being loosely referred to as the "Blueprint". The NSW Labor government's record on the planning and implementation of public transport and other alternatives to the motor car has been appalling. We are now just seventeen months from the next election. In our view, any plans the government might prepare, on transport or any other matter, would be overly influenced by the government's desperate attempt at re-election. We have declined the TIDC request. Our letter can be seen here.
