Public Transport Advisory Council appointments

The PTAC is created by Part 5A of the
<a href=http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/nsw/consol_act/taa1988305/>
Transport Administration Act</a>.
However, it has not met for a couple of years.
The NSW government recently decided to revive it, and nominations
were called for members. The following appointments were made:

Chair: Alex Sanchez (Deputy President of NRMA)

Rep. of users of public transport: Tim Goodwin (Senior Policy Officer, NSW Council of Social Services)

Rep. of users of public transport: Kevin Parish (Commuter Council)

Rep. of users of public transport with disabilities: Glenn Redmayne (Marrickville Council)

Rep. of users of public transport, consumers: Deidre Mason (Committee for Sydney)

Rep. of environmental organisations: Christine Laurence (Nature Conservation Council of NSW)

Rep. of Local Government: Cr Janice Kershaw (Wollongong Council)

Expert in transport planning: Angus Witherby (Senior Lecture in Geography and Planning, University of New England)

Expert in urban planning: Evan Jones (Planning NSW's director of Sydney Strategy)
