Carlton Hotel, 350 Church St, Parramatta (opposite Riverside Theatre)
Organised by Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF)
Western Sydney residents experience longer travel times and higher
travel costs. This adversely affects their opportunities to access
employment, education and health services as well as recreational and
social activities. What transport policies are the political parties
offering to deal with these issues?
February's Wednesday Forum will focus on policies on offer by political
parties in the lead-up to the NSW State Election.
Come along to hear:
- Lee Rhiannon, MP, The Greens
- Dr Arthur Chesterfield-Evans, Australian Democrats
- The Hon Diane Beamer MP, Minister for Western Sydney, Australian Labor Party
outline their transport solutions for Western Sydney as well as their
policies for keeping the community sector vibrant, well resourced and
effective and helping low income residents.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to
- share your ideas on how we might be able to work together to promote these issues
- learn about how your organisation can influence who will govern for the next four years.
