Ministry releases new paper on tax incentives
The report <a href="http://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/taxconcessions/public-transport-tax-incentives.pdf">Tax Incentives for Public Transport Users</a> (35 pages, 832 kB PDF) was prepared by Ernst and Young for the NSW Ministry of Transport.

It suggests there may be grounds for considering
a Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) exemption for
employer-sponsored programs aimed at encouraging
public transport use for travel to and from work.
