BusTripper - Forgotten But Not Gone
Despite State Transit's best efforts to ignore its own BusTripper ticket, CityRail has come to the rescue. 

A new CityRail booklet entitled "Tickets to ride: Your guide to the best train tickets" (dated September 2002) lists the BusTripper ticket amongst a host of train, bus, ferry, light rail and monorail tickets. Yet State Transit continues to omit the ticket from its own literature and bus timetables. 

At $9.70, the BusTripper is better value than the $13.40 DayTripper ticket for people who don't live near a railway line or who don't plan to catch a train during the day.
