State Rail Authority annual report 2001-2002

As did the STA report, it shows a drop in patronage
for the year ending 30th June 2002, even after the
Olympic surge during September-October 2000 is taken
into account.

It ascribes this reduction to "factors including a downturn
in economic activity reflected in declining employment
levels in the CBD and other centres".
