Declining patronage noted by State Transit Authority
The State Transit Authority of NSW's Annual Report
was released late on Friday 29th November.

It remarks on a reduction in patronage, saying it
is common to all service operators.
The reduction is attributed to a downturn in the economy,
to a reduction in the cost of car ownership following
introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST)
and to an effective reduction in petrol excise.
