Airport - City on the cheap, using APTNSW's "Trickybus"

From Monday 26 October, a new, cheaper way of travelling between the city and the airport.
Metrobus Route 20 (the red buses) starts running between Gore Hill and Mascot Shops on Monday 26 October.
Use Metrobus Route 20 between North Sydney or anywhere in the CBD (including the new Park Street Interchange) and Mascot Shops, then route 400 between Mascot Shops and either airport terminal.
- Both buses fairly frequent - no timetables required.
- Avoid the extortionate airport station user charges.
- Remember to buy a prepay ticket, or use your Travelpass or TravelTen (Metrobus Route 20 is "prepay")
- CityRail will not want it known, and State Transit probably won't want to embarrass CityRail
- Tell your friends you got it from APTNSW !
Alternatively, use the train between the city and Mascot, then the 400 bus to the airport terminals. The rail fare from City to Mascot is $6, while City to Domestic Airport is $15.
