Planning for the Inner North - Ryde to Mosman - Strategy on display for comment

The Department of Planning has placed the Draft Inner North Subregional Strategy on exhibition for public comment (display ad, S.M.Herald, 18.7.07, p 20).

The Strategy will guide land-use planning in the Ryde, Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, North Sydney, Willoughby and Mosman local government areas until 2031.

The Strategy claims to encourage public transport use. Action for Public Transport urges readers to make their own assessment, and to make a submission.

The closing date for submissions is Monday 17 September 2007.
