New CityRail Timetable Formats

As well as revising the actual running times of the trains, CityRail is also re-designing the format and layout of the timetable booklets. CityRail invited APT to comment on the proposed changes and to make any further suggestions.

APT discussed the changes with CityRail Marketing on 9th March 2004. Amongst many topics covered were: which lines go in which book, colour coding, NightRide buses, connecting buses, and general information. As always, there are good reasons for formatting timetables either this way or that way, and we respect whatever choice CityRail finally makes.

We once again welcome this opportunity for continued consultation between CityRail and consumer representatives.
