Bus Drivers Playing Radios

posted Sunday 5 October 2003
The State Transit Authority has quietly changed the rules about bus drivers playing radios. Radios used to be forbidden, but in the September 2003 edition of its house journal "Transit Times", drivers have been advised they can now play radios, etc., at a "moderate" level, whatever that means.

However, if a passenger asks for the radio to be turned off, the driver must do so, immediately, and cheerfully, according to Transit Times.
