Monorail Fares - How Low Can You Go?

In another of its innovative and aggressive marketing schemes Connex, the operator of the Sydney monorail, is offering a One-Day discount on its already discounted METROcard.

The standard monorail fare is $4 per ride. Prepaid METROcards give you the same ride for $2.50 and the cards can be topped up for more monorail rides than you would ever want to take.

In a special offer, if you top up your card on Tuesday 15th October, you can get virtually unlimited future rides for only $2 each. The offer is valid for that day only. If you haven’t already got a card, apply for one now.
