From that date, Westbus will introduce the first of its five new Volvo "artics" on services between Sydney's Hills District and the city. These services use the exclusive bus lanes on the privately-owned M2 motorway. The 80-passenger vehicles will be Sydney's first new articulated buses in twenty years. The bright yellow Volvos will differ from State Transit's artics by having the centre exit door in the trailing section of the body.
